The North Roseville Rec Center serves families in the neighborhood and is proud to sustain a healthy, stable environment that creates a positive impact on children's lives with programs that are free to all participants and enriches the quality of life in the North Roseville Neighborhood. In addition, the Rec provides nutritional meals, education/tutoring, and life skill training to the youth, presenting them with opportunity. Amazing as they sound, the North Roseville Rec Center is not recognized by many. To raise awareness of their existence and the benevolent job that they do, SAGE put together the "North Roseville Rec Awareness Week".
From March 15 to March 19, we asked local restaurants to help us support the local North Roseville REC Center. Partial proceeds from purchases made on assigned days were donated. Donation boxes were provided at each location as well as all around campus for convenient drop-off donations such as; books, toys, clothes, sanitary items, games and other various needs.
ROAR is now working with a contractor, and collecting supplies to restore their roof.
